About Free Your Mind Projects
Simply put, The Free Your Mind Projects were created to bring together leading advocacy groups, service providers, leading public and private sector organizations and media to educate the general public about mental health issues.
It is estimated that one in every four people deals with a mental health issue. Regardless of nationality or economic status, these illnesses affect many families. The Free Your Mind Projects have a mission to help those in need get the resources to help deal with these issues.
Formed by people that have had family members suffer from mental health issues and seeing first hand how difficult it was to find help, they decided to take an active role to help others facing these problems.
There are many good organizations that can help, but finding them can sometimes be difficult. With help from Corporate and Public Sector Sponsors, we are able to get the messages out to reach hundreds of thousands of people who may not otherwise know where to look for help.
We are also working to educate the general public on mental health issues and break down existing stigma.
